Core road
Sathu Pradit Road and the numbered side streets that give the neighbourhood its name.
Sathu Pradit (สาธุประดิษฐ์) is the neighbourhood along Sathu Pradit Road, with Rung Charoen Market (ตลาดรุ่งเจริญ), Wat Bhoman Khunaram (วัดโพธิ์แมนคุณาราม), Liwa-ul Islam Mosque (มัสยิดลิวาอุ้ลอิสลาม), Wat Dokmai (วัดดอกไม้) and Wat Dokmai Recreation Centre (ศูนย์นันทนาการวัดดอกไม้) providing the clearest reasons to stop. The road also contains 261 restaurants, while a separate food-point set contains 309 named entries; neither total shows which businesses are open today. Choose one or two places and travel between them separately, because a continuous walking route has not been checked.
Details may change — verify before visiting.
Sathu Pradit is a working road neighbourhood whose visitor interest comes from a market, living religious sites and a city recreation centre, not one headline attraction.
Rung Charoen Market is the clearest everyday stop in Sathu Pradit. It sits at Soi 33, and a January 2026 report found vendors still trading there, including shopfronts remembered from visits two decades earlier. That makes it useful as a glimpse of the road's commercial life, provided you check the current trading period first.
The religious places are not interchangeable. Wat Bhoman Khunaram belongs to Thailand's Chinese Buddhist clergy and appears in a district outing centred on worship and zodiac-year rites. Liwa-ul Islam Mosque is the Soi 30 mosque in the national Islamic directory. Wat Dokmai, toward the Rama III end, has its own historic-site record and remains a separate place from the BRT station and recreation centre carrying the same name.
Sathu Pradit also functions as a place of work and daily services. The area has 38,681 residents, 122 factories employing 7,843 workers and factories producing garments, cosmetics and motorcycle components. Its food coverage is reported in two layers—261 restaurants overall and 309 named food points—so the useful lesson is the range of choices, not an assumption that every entry is trading today.
Two tourism names need different treatment. The former BMA Local Museum Yannawa (พิพิธภัณฑ์ท้องถิ่นกรุงเทพมหานคร เขตยานนาวา) at Wat Khlong Phum is marked closed, so it is not a route stop. Current premises and visitor access for the International Carving Association (สมาคมแกะสลักนานาชาติ) remain unclear, so it should not be the reason for a special journey.
One road holds a food market, a Chinese Buddhist temple, a mosque, a Thai temple and a city recreation centre.

Sathu Pradit here means the road-centred neighbourhood along Sathu Pradit Road, its numbered sois and the approach to Ratchadaphisek and Rama III. It is not the whole of Yan Nawa district, and it is not a route centred only on Wat Dokmai. Liwa-ul Islam Mosque in Phuket is a different same-named place, while the FEB FEST activity attached to the tourism data names Central Chiang Mai and does not belong to this destination.
Loading the real boundary…
Sathu Pradit Road and the numbered side streets that give the neighbourhood its name.
Rung Charoen Market, Wat Bhoman Khunaram, Liwa-ul Islam Mosque, Wat Dokmai Recreation Centre and Wat Dokmai.
The rest of Yan Nawa district, the Phuket mosque with the same English name and the Chiang Mai event mistakenly attached to this locale.
The area follows Sathu Pradit Road and its numbered side streets toward Ratchadaphisek and Rama III. It does not include every attraction in the wider Yan Nawa district.
Treat these as separate choices, not stops on a promised walk. Wat Dokmai BRT serves the southern end of the area, but check the current journey and return through the operator before leaving; the other places need their own current map check.

Sathu Pradit 30, 33, 57 and 58 are part of the area's practical language. Street signs matter because the road's institutions are spread between different side streets.
The centre's eleven subjects range from Thai music and dance to English, singing and handicrafts. Check the current board without interrupting a class.
A general restaurant entry; its cuisine, prices and present opening need checking.
Pork satay near Sathu Pradit 58 Soi 3.
Wrapped basil stir-fry meals in the middle of Sathu Pradit 57.
Rice with Chinese-style red pork on Sathu Pradit 57.
Thai chilli dips and accompaniments on Sathu Pradit 57.
Food coverage gives two separate totals: 261 restaurants and 309 named food points. These entries are not a live directory, so check current opening before travelling for one.
Factories in the area cut and sew garments, make cosmetics and produce motorcycle components; 122 factories employ 7,843 workers between them.
No dependable meal-price ranges were available.
The main practical issue is that the named places are spread along a road with untested links between them. Plan each stop separately and let current signs and staff guide access.
Road and pavement projects do not prove the present condition of every crossing, ramp or side street. Check the immediate approach before committing to a stop.
Bangkok's tracker shows contract service continuing in 2026, but the operator's displayed timetable took effect on November 1, 2021. Recheck service, fare and the return journey.
Cover shoulders and knees, remove shoes where indicated and avoid passing directly in front of people who are worshipping.
Visitor access is not established by the directory entry. Ask before entering and avoid photographing people during prayer.
The recreation centre is an active learning place. Wait outside sessions and ask before taking photographs.
At the market and transport stops, keep bags closed and step away from passenger flows before checking a map or taking a photograph.
Use daylight for separate neighbourhood stops, and check current market, worship and recreation-centre activity before leaving.
One or two stops are enough for a focused visit. No complete walking time is given because the links between places have not been checked.
Some of these sit just outside this page’s area — flagged below.

It means the neighbourhood along Sathu Pradit Road and its numbered sois toward Ratchadaphisek and Rama III, not the whole of Yan Nawa district.
Rung Charoen Market is the clearest everyday destination. Wat Bhoman Khunaram, Liwa-ul Islam Mosque, Wat Dokmai and the city recreation centre provide separate cultural and community stops.
Do not rely on an assumed route. The station, recreation centre and temple are established separately, but continuous crossings, surfaces, entrances and the return have not been checked.
Bangkok's project tracker reported contract service during 2026 and was updated on August 21, 2026. The operator timetable displayed online still dates from November 1, 2021, so check the actual trip before travelling.
The museum archive marks the former museum at Wat Khlong Phum closed, so it is not included as a visit stop.
A current visitor venue, entrance and operating status could not be established. Do not make a special journey for it without obtaining current information.
A source link shows where a claim came from; it does not turn time-sensitive details like prices or hours into guarantees.
